Dental prosthesis can range from making a crown to restore a badly damaged tooth to the replacement of all missing teeth.

Can be divided into conventional or implant supported. And it can be fixed or removable.

Fixed prosthesis are usually metal-ceramic crowns or all ceramic crowns (no metal)

Removable prosthesis or dentures are usually made with a metal support structure, coated with acrylic that replaces gum and teeth.
